The Breeder

Skarabee Arabians was established in 1996. The Egyptian translation of skarabee means good luck and sunshine. At the begining of my wonderful and exciting new venture into breeding these magnificent creatures, the name seemed appropriate.

My main focus was to create an Egyptian breeding program of the highest quality Egyptian and Asil bloodlines. With carefully selected breeding stock, and alot of research, Skarabee Arabians can now look to the future with legends of the past and present.

I feel very fortunate, or shall I say, lucky, to have combined stallions like; Shaker El Masri, Egyptian Prince, Akkhir, Madkour, Nabiel, Makhsous, Imperial Imdal, The minstril and Thee Desperado, into one breeding program. Although I am very committed to the breeding of Egyptian and Asil Arabians, the physical characteristics like type, good conformation, size and athletic ability, are just as crucial for achieving my goals.

My philosophy is, to acknowledge the past in producing the present to preserve for the future.
